402-01 murdered

GUMACA, Quezon -- An original member of the KBNet Quezon - Gumaca (KBN402) Chapter was gunned down by 4 unidentified suspects riding in 2 motorcycles on a broad daylight last August 2, 2013 infront of the victim's house along Maharlika Highway, Sitio Gamao, Bgy. Calumanguin, this municipality.

Apolinario P. Padua with a call sign of (402-01), a retired Master Sargeant of the Philippine Army while on board his motorcycle speeding home from Atimonan at on or about 9'oclock in the morning of Friday last week, when somewhere along Plaridel town, the 4 suspects started to fire at him using short firearms.

Before reaching the municipal boundary of Plaridel and Gumaca, according to reports, he was already hit at his back.

Reports said that upon reaching infront of his house, due to gunshot wounds at his back, he fell down on the highway, and the suspects peppered him with bullet the ensure his death.

Gumaca PNP investigators are looking on various angles to solve the heinous crime.  

The late 402-01 was the chartered president of the KBNQ Gumaca.  His body now lies in state at his residence. Interment will be announced later.
