KBNET QUEZON TO CHARTER PAGBILAO CHAPTER

ATIMONAN, Quezon – The KBNet Philippines Quezon Province, a civic radio communications group has slated to formally charter their chapter in the municipality of Pagbilao on September 4, 2011 with Supt. Nelson B. Jalbuena, provincial director of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) as the guest of honor and speaker.

This was announced yesterday by Sir Jojit Jariel (147-17), KBNet Quezon Provincial Chairman who also said that they are expecting that Sir Jennis I. Nidea (30-01), founder/national president of the KBNet Philippines, Inc. (KPI) to grace the said event to deliver an inspirational message.

Supt. Jalbuena will share his views on the occasion's theme: “Nagkakaisang Boluntaryong Grupo, Tungo sa Maunlad at Mapayapang Quezon”. The event which will include: Special elevation, Chartering, Confirmation of Provy, and Installation of Officers, will be held at Malicboy Barangay Hall, Pagbilao, Quezon on Sunday, starting at 8:00 in the morning.

According to Sir Jojit Pagbilao Chapter had been given an area code of KBN404.

Expected to attend are officers and members of the various chapters of KBNet Quezon: Atimonan (KBN147), Calauag (KBN400), Unisan (KBN401), Gumaca (KBN402), Mauban (KBN403), Plaridel (KBN405), Tagkawayan (KBN406), Lucena City (KBN407) and Perez (KBN408).

Last month, KBNet Quezon was a recipient of a national award from the Bureau of Fire Protection and was given recognition by the Quezon Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (QPDRRMC) as outstanding non-government volunteer organization.

Sir Jojit said that they have invited chapters from KB Bicol, KB Malaya, KB Mediacom, and KBNet NCR, all member-organizations of the KPI, a national network and umbrella organization of volunteer groups
