BFP awarded KBNet Quezon

QUEZON City -- The KBNet Quezon Province was a recipient of a national award fromthe Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) during its 20th Anniversary celebration held on August 2, 2011 at the Quezon City Sports Club, this city with DILG Secretary Jesse M.Robredo as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

The KBNet Quezon, now with ten (10) chapters under its fold was recognized for being the most active volunteer groupin  Region IV-A (Calabarzon) for the year 2011.

The award was personally received from Robredo by the group - Sir ojit A. Jariel (147-17), PEC Provincial Chairman; Sir Ding Mapula (400-01), Calauag,KB400 President & PEC Provincial Vice Chairman; Sir Dexter Erandio (400-00), KBN400 founder & PEC Operations Chief; Sir Joel de laCruz (400-34); Sir roderick Ajogar (402-00);Sir Sonny Gablanca (400-05; Sir Sammy Salvacion (404-00) and Sir RonaldGlory (147-Charlie 01).

In a statement, KPI founder/national president Sir Jennis said "As one of the 5 member-organizations of the KBNet Philippines, Inc (KPI), the natioal network and umbrella organization of the volunteer groups in the country, KBNet Quezon gave another recognition not only to the Quezon group to the entire KPI family which include KB Bicol, KB Malaya, KB Mediacom & KBNet national Capital Region".

In 2009, the KB Bicol was the recipient of the National Gawad Kalasag Award as the Most Outstanding Private / Non-Govenment Volunteer Organization in the Philippines by the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council.
