KB BICOL TO HOLD REGL CONVENTION ON JULY 9;

NAGA City -- Kaboronyogan nin mga Bicolnon (KB Bicol), Inc. will be holding its Regional Convention on July 9, 2011 with tentative venue in Bagasbas Beach Resort, Daet, Camarines Norte.

This was announced yesterday by KB Bicol Regional Governor Irvin C. Ayo (30-54) after a 30-minute emergency meeting during lunch break of the PEC-Cam. Sur Sportsfest at the Ateneo de Naga University Covered Court in this city.

Present in the said meeting presided by Sir 30-54 were: PEC CSur Officers headed by Provincial Chairman Jun Kalaw (30-59), Regional Vernor for Vice Governor for Administration Nahum Omana (214-27) and KPI Founder & National President Jennis I. Nidea (30-01).

Ayo informed the group that in his earlier meeting with PEC Cam.Norte Chairman Ferdz Abejero (219-14), he was told that Cam. Norte is begging off in hosting the regional event and that PEC Cam. Sur is willing to host it instead.

However, Omana assured the group that his chapter, KB214, is willing to accept the challenge in hosting the event. "However, I will still talk with Sir Ferdz and the officers of Daet (KB139) Chapter for their support as the activities will be held in their AOR", Omana stresses.

Ayo said that the details of the activities including the the preparation of the program shall be the responsibility of the REC while the KB214 and the PEC Cam.Norte will be incharged of the venue, foods and accomodation.
